Venezuelan left-hander Erick Urbaneja pitched an 8-inning no-hitter in a 1-0 victory over Denmark, for the Group B. Argentina collected today its second win of the tournament after a comfortable five-innings victory over Singapore, 15-0.

Roger Rosete blasted two solo home runs today in Havlickuv Brod to lead Cuba to a 6-0 victory over Botswana, in a key match for Group A. The Netherlands scored multiple runs in his three at-bats to clinch its first win of the event against Singapore in Group B.
Mogale, Samuel combine to no hit Philippines as Botswana gets first win. Denmark tops South Africa in five
Kagiso Mogale and Kunyalala Samuel combined today for the first no-hitter of the tournament, leading Botswana to its first win of the tournament, 3-0, over the Philippines. A pair of 2-run home runs by Martin Simonsen and Jens Terkelsen helped Denmark to clinch a five-inning, 7-0 win over South Africa.
Czech Republic tops Mexico in extras, home crowd erupts
After a marathon game lasting 2:25 hours, Czech Republic clinched its first win of the tournament with a walk-off single by Marek Maly in the eighth inning. Andrew Kirkpatrick and Adam Folkard combined to pitch a 1-hitter against USA to lead Australia to the second win of the tournament
Oishi, Inoue homer, Japan tops Mexico. USA uses big third inning to rally past Netherlands
In the best game of the day, Japan defeated Mexico, 2-1, to close the second day of competition in Group A. Japanese catcher Tsukasa Oishi and designated player Tomonori Inoue homered to produce the only 2 Japanese runs of the game.

Australia and Argentina started the tournament with solid victories over Singapore and Botswana respectively. The Aussies belted three home runs, while the South Americans used the speed as their main tool to win.
