The Euro Baseball Winter League 2024 aims to provide young baseball prospects with an opportunity to extend their season and enhance their skills through high-quality games and practices with top coaches from the USA and Europe.
The Euro Baseball Winter League will feature a combination of Spanish players and players from across Europe. WBSC Europe invites federations to nominate a couple of players to participate in this prestigious event.
Here are the key details:
• Dates: Players are required to arrive in Tenerife (Canary Islands) on November 16 and depart on November 24.
• Age Group: 17-23 years.
• Team Formation: Depending on the number of players, participants will be divided into 3 or 4 teams, with 16 players in each team.
• Schedule: Depending on the number of teams, there will be either 5 games in the afternoon and night, with morning workouts for every team, or games every day.
• Financial Obligations: The cost per player is 650 EUR, which includes **** hotels, full board, and local transportation. This amount should be paid to the WBSC Europe account as a guarantee after the selection. The late entry fee per player is 700 EUR. Please note that the plane ticket to Tenerife airport is not included and will be the responsibility of each participant (The ticket price at this moment is around 300 EUR).
Interested Federations are requested to submit their applications no later than June 15th.
