In the early morning game, Bonn Capitals (GER) narrowly defeated Roef! (NED) with a 4-3 victory. Following that, Tempo Praha (CZE) secured a close win over Sant Boi (ESP) with a 4-3 scoreline.
Unfortunately, the weather took a turn, and the remaining games were postponed due to rain. The matchups between Les Pharaons (FRA) and Sparks Haarlem (NED), Wiener Neustadt (AUT) and Saronno (ITA), Tempo Praha (CZE) and Roef! (NED), and Sant Boi (ESP) and Sparks Haarlem (NED) were all affected.
The rescheduled games are as follows:
- Tempo Praha (CZE) vs. Roef! (NED) has been moved to Field Kinheim at 13:30 on Wednesday, August 21.
- Wiener Neustadt (AUT) vs. Saronno (ITA) has been moved to Field Kinheim at 10:00 on Thursday, August 22.
- Roef! (NED) vs. Wiener Neustadt (AUT) has been moved to Field Kinheim at 15:30 on Thursday, August 22.
After the initial games of the Women’s Softball European Cup Winners Cup “A” 2024, with one win each, are Wiener Neustadt (AUT), Saronno (ITA), Roef! (NED) and Sparks Haarlem (NED) remain undefeated in their limited appearances so far. Bonn Capitals (GER) secured two wins out of three games.
