The match between Wittenbach Panthers (SUI) and Beveren Lions (BEL) in Group A was suspended, and will be resumed on Wednesday at 10:30 in Castions di Strada; while the game between Softball Forlì (ITA) and Joudrs Praha (CZE) in Group B was postponed to Tuesday at 13:30.
Despite the morning setbacks, the tournament successfully completed its remaining matches later in the day. SC Neptunus (NED) opened the competition with a strong performance, defeating The Mix (GBR) 7-0.
In Group A, reigning champions Olympia Haarlem (NED) topped Wesseling Vermins (GER) 14-4. Rivas Madrid (ESP) also had a commanding victory, shutting out Wittenbach Panthers (SUI) with a 14-0 scoreline.
Joudrs Praha (CZE) edged out Vienna Metrostars (AUT) in a closely contested match, securing a 5-4 win. The day concluded with Softball Forlì (ITA) defeating SC Neptunus (NED) 5-1 in the evening game.
