Baseball For Good and ISG Baseball organise a baseball camp for Ukrainian youth in Kutno, Poland

Forty-five young athletes from Ukraine and their coaches will go to Kutno, Poland, in May for a week-long experience. The activity is being sponsored and coordinated by Baseball for Good as part of a sports diplomacy effort with a focus on youth development.

During a week in the month of May, forty-five Ukrainian players and coaches will be provided with baseball training, fun extracurricular activities, and coaches' education in Kutno, Poland.

Providing support is Baseball for Good partner ISG Baseball, a non-profit organization, along with both Little League Baseball Europe (Kutno is the headquarters for Little League Baseball Europe) and the Ukrainian Baseball and Softball Federation.

The baseball and softball program's development will be overseen by Peter Caliendo, Director International Baseball Operations for Baseball for Good & VP of ISG Baseball. "We have been supporting Ukraine Baseball for over nine years, and we are especially proud of the projects we have sponsored to help kids and coaches during these tough times", Caliendo said.

For the past nine years, Baseball For Good and ISG Baseball have used baseball to connect and strengthen ties between the US and Eastern Europe. In 2019, the organizations focused their efforts on developing relations with Ukraine.

These efforts led to the construction of a baseball stadium in Bohuslav, Ukraine, which hosts games, training, and international tournaments.
