B-Pool U-23 Baseball Euros get underway on Monday in Zurich, Switzerland

The first of two U-23 Baseball European Championships B-Pool will be played in Zurich, Switzerland this week. The ballpark at the Heerenschürli will host five teams from Monday, vying to qualify for next year’s U-23 Baseball European Championship in Trebic, Czechia.

The U-23 Baseball National Teams from Belgium, Israel, Lithuania, Poland and host Switzerland will compete this week in Zurich in the B-Pool U-23 Baseball Euros. Belgium lost its spot in the A-Pool getting relegated at the U-23 Baseball European Championship last year.

From Monday to Friday the preliminary round robin will take place with the top two teams advancing to the final on Saturday at 13:30 CEST. During the first round two games will be played each day at 13:30 and 18:00.

Zurich is hosting one of the two B-Pool U-23 Baseball European Championships this week with Budapest, Hungary being the home for the second group. The two winners will play in the U-23 Baseball European Championship with Trebic, Czechia already known as hosting city in 2025.

All games will be streamed live through www.baseballeurope.tv. Live scoring is also available for all games on www.wbsceurope.org.
