The Netherlands will play Germany at 18:00 in the semi-final one, while Italy takes on Great Britain at 19:30 in the second.

After four of five days in the preliminary round at the U-18 Baseball European Championship in Regensburg, Germany the four semifinalists are known. From Group A Germany and Italy advance after remaining undefeated after four games. Germany beat Israel 9-2. Italy edged out Spain 2-1. Meanwhile in Group B the Netherlands and Great Britain move into the top four with the Dutch team already claiming first place. The Netherlands prevailed 8-2 over Czechia. Great Britain downed France 11-5. Additionally, Belgium beat Sweden 11-1 for their first win, while Austria won against Croatia 4-3 in a nailbiter to reach the win column. Day four was delayed midway through the day after a heavy thunderstorm. But eventually all games were played.

Germany cruised by Austria 16-1. Italy shut out Croatia 14-0. The Netherlands prevailed 9-1 over Great Britain in the meeting of 2-0 clubs. Czechia defeated winless Sweden by a score of 12-0 to improve to 2-1. In a back and forth affair France narrowly beat Belgium 9-6. In the evening defending title holder Spain held off Israel 9-3.

Germany pulled off the biggest upset of the U-18 Baseball European Championship 2024. On day two in Regensburg, Germany, the hosts upset defending champion Spain in the evening game by a score of 7-1. Earlier in the day the Netherlands, Italy and Great Britain each celebrated 10-0 wins over France, Austria and Sweden. Israel beat Croatia 18-8 in a very long game. In the second evening matchup Czechia won 8-2 against Belgium.
