Les Pharaons win the 2022 Women's Softball European Cup B

The 2022 Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup B gold medallists are the home team of Evry-Courcouronnes: Les Pharaons. Topping the Wittenbach Panthers (SUI), 2-0, Les Pharaons won the European title in their home field.

Les Pharaons winning the Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup B, France will be promoted to the Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup A in 2023.

In a game dominated by the pitchers, MERKX Marjolein for the French team and STOCKIE Skyler Patricia Anne for the Swiss, only six hits were allowed, three for each team.

The French were able to better seize their opportunities scoring once in the third and once in the fifth. In the bottom of the third, Aurélie BACELON tripled and later scored on a grounder on the opposite field by FRANKA Reganied, giving Les Pharaons the lead. the second run got scored on the fifth: COSTE Rosalie hit a triple to deep right field and scored a hit to center field by TALEB Amina.

Bronze medal game
The Thunderbirds (ISR) defeated Skövde BSK (SWE), 1-4, to win the bronze medal game. 

On the fourth, LONGO Julia Allison, on base on a single, scored on a hit by NOSGORODSKY YEHUDIT Sara to take the lead for the Thunderbirds. The Swedish tied the game scoring one in the top of the sixth thanks to a double by EDEN Hannah pushing home SANDAHL Linnéa.

The Thunderbirds reacted at the change of inning, scoring three runs (OZIAS Ariel, LONGO Julia Allison, and NEWELL Kelly) thanks to NEWELL's single and NOSGORODSKY YEHUDIT Sara's triple to take the result to 4-1, the final result of the game.
