The U-12 Baseball European Championship will be played in Valenciennes, France

The Valenciennes Baseball Club's bid for the organisation of the U-12 Baseball European Championship 2023 was approved by the WBSC Europe Executive Board.

The U-12 Baseball European Championship is played every year being the leading event for the development of baseball.

Valenciennes is a town in Northern France, located 20 kilometers from the Belgian border and 45 kilometers from the region capital, Lille.

It'll be the first international event for the Valenciennes Baseball Club which successfully hosted French national teams training camps and organized major national events like the Women's Softball Challenge de France.

At the U-12 Baseball European Championship 2022, Germany won the title after a dramatic walk-off win in the extra innings over Czechia. The event took place in Vienna, Austria. The 2023 hosts from France finished fifth with a record of 3-2.
