Mariners Baseball Ireland (IRL) has achieved a remarkable victory in the Swedish pool of the Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifier 2023. This win secured a coveted spot for Ireland at the upcoming Baseball European Federation Cup in 2024.

The Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifiers take place this week with 18 teams total in the cities of Rybnik, Poland, Sundbyberg, Sweden and Budapest, Hungary. The winners of each pool capture a spot for their federation in next year’s Federation Cup, which is tier three in WBSC Europe’s Baseball European Cup system.

The local organising committee of the Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifier - Pool A 2023, in collaboration with WBSC Europe, made the event's infopack available for the teams and fans.

Rybnik (Poland), Budapest (Hungary) and Sundbyberg (Sweden) will host the three pools of the Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifiers.

The participants in the Baseball European Champions Cup, Confederation Cup, Federation Cup, and Federation Cup Qualifier 2023 are now official.

Sundbyberg, Sweden, will be the home of one of the Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifier 2023.
