Princ (CRO) leading the Central Europe Women’s Softball Euroleague

Last weekend, Hungary hosted the second phase of the 2022 Central Europe Women’s Softball Euroleague. Six of the seven teams enrolled in the league played seven games. After two weekends, the Croatian Princ Zagreb is leading the group with six Wins.

The second tournament of the Central Europe Women’s Softball Euroleague took place in Hungary from April 30 to May 1, 2022. 

On the first day of games, Trnava Panthers Softball (SVK) debuted the league with a win against the Budapest Red Wolves (BUL), 7-15, to then suffer a loss against Princ Zagreb (CRO), 4-3. The Lady Pirates (CRO) topped the Budapest Red Wolves (BUL), 13-14. The Jánossomorja Rascals (HUN) also made their debut in the Central Europe Women’s Softball Euroleague against Princ Zagreb (CRO) losing 0-11.

On Sunday, the Jánossomorja Rascals (HUN) claimed their first W against the Lady Pirates (CRO), 10-15, but then suffered against the Budapest Red Wolves (BUL), 10-22.

The Central Europe Women’s Softball Euroleague will take a break to resume for the third phase of the league. The next tournament will be hosted in Trnava, Slovakia, on July 9 and 10, 2022.
