Playball for the Coed Slowpitch European Championship

The 2022 Coed Slowpitch European Championship is live from Ljubljana, Slovenia.

From Tuesday, July 12, to Saturday, July 16, the third Coed Slowpitch European Championship will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Nine nation squads will take part in the competition and battle for the title of European Champion. Three of them will qualify for the historic first-ever WBSC Coed Slowpitch World Cup to be held in 2023.

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Netherlands, Serbia, and home team Slovenia will play for a full week on two fields.

The nine teams will play a single-round robin from Tuesday until Friday.

The finals are programmed for Saturday, July 16, when the Coed Slowpitch European Champion will be crowned. The Bronze Medal game is set to start at 14:00, and the Championship Game at 17:00. The medallists will take part in the 2023 WBSC Coed Slowpitch World Cup.

Nine games will be played on day 1. Serbia VS Ireland and Great Britain VS Netherlands will kick off the tournament at 9:00. Three games are scheduled on field 1 and six on field 2.

Great Britain is the defending champion having won the 2019 title in Budapest, Hungary, after defeating Germany, 13-3.
