In memory of the late and great Italian manager Enrico Obletter, the Azzurre softball squad would like nothing more than to bring home a medal #PerEnrico. In fact, after Team Italy was declared the winner of the Europe-Africa Olympic Qualifier, Enrico Obletter promised Italian Olympic Committee President Giovanni Malagò to bring home a medal.

Team Italy recently celebrated the back-to-back Women's European Softball Championship titles resulting in a berth to the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Alabama.
